This rugged system has a standard eight worker Breather Box mounted onto a pre-filter cart. Breathing air may be fed to the cart system from plant or mobile air compressors & prefiltered through the high capacity oil, water & particulate separators which located at the cart's rear. These pre-filters will automatically drain oil & water discharged from the compressor before entering the Breather Box. This process will extend Breather Box filter life & reduce the cost of maintenance downtime.

To achieve proper operation of your ambient air pump always select constant flow respirators which are approved and designed for operation with ambient air pumps, BELOW 15psi. Be sure to specify the respirator's approved coupling size when you order a specific model of pump which matches your selected respirator hose. Compressors have to be located in clean air environments as specified to OSHA 1910.134 regulations.

All air pumps deliver output air temperatures ranging between 140-180 degrees F. The low cost solution to cool the pump’s air is to order Air Systems’ air pump mounted on the ASME Twin-Air™ tank/cart frame assembly. Output air temperatures will be approximately 20 degrees F above the ambient temperature. The system has large tires for ease of mobility. Each tank is supplied with a manual moisture drain valve. A COOL-BOX can be ordered for additional cooling.

The BAC-173TCO is a lightweight and highly mobile pump with moisture drain valve. As pumps generally tend to fend hot air (140°F -180°F) during operating hours, it is mandatory to use a coolant to keep the air cool. A low cost solution to cool the air from pump is to use Air System’s Cool-Air pump. This pump can bring the air temperature at 20°F above the temperature of surroundings. It can be easily maneuvered around on the large tires. It comes with the BAC-17 compressor pump positioned on a Twin-Air tank (TA-3T) with CO monitor. One may couple it with the Air Systems Cool-Box for additional cooling. Please Note: This compressor should not be used with high-pressure demanding respirators. It does not support Vortex cooling tubes due to a low pressure output.
