Machined from a 1/2-inch (12.5 mm) aluminum plate and sporting CMC’s superior proprietary finish for even longer wear resistance, the Rappel 8 contains almost twice the material of other small 8s, providing better heat dissipation. Because the Rappel 8 was optimized for use with NFPA Technical Use rope (9.5 to 11mm / 3/8 to 7/16 in), it is certified Technical Use.

The bag attaches securely to a belt or harness with hook and loop, or by threading a belt through its integrated tunnel loop. For rapid deployment, connect the System to your escape belt or harness using the included tether. Machined from aircraft-grade, high-strength aluminum, the device provides smooth and reliable edge transition, minimizing potential for hang-up at window sill.
