Built on Ceradyne’s patented Seamless Shell Technology with a no-through-hole design, the RIFLETECH™ eliminates the structural weak points found in conventional helmets, delivering consistent ballistic integrity across the entire shell. This high-cut configuration maximizes compatibility with communications headsets and ear protection while providing the elevated ballistic performance demanded by today’s tactical operators.

The RIFLETECH™ shell is constructed from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber composites, offering an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio — approximately 33% lighter than traditional aramid materials. The helmet meets NIJ Level III (STD 0108.01) and defeats NIJ RF1 threats (STD 0123.00) tested in accordance with NIJ STD 0106.01, with a fragment performance rating of 17gr FSP V50 = 4,430 ft/s (1,350 m/s). Confirmed threat defeat capability includes 7.62×51mm FMJ M80 Ball (NATO), 7.62×39mm MSC, 5.56mm M193 BT, and 9mm FMJ RN. Blunt impact protection meets ACH Gen II standards per AR/PD 14-01. Comfort and fit are managed by the No Thru-Hole CAM FIT™ Retention System, featuring a micro-adjustable BOA® dial that allows one-handed adjustments under dynamic operational conditions. The RIFLETECH™ Air Fit Liner System, developed through extensive traumatic brain injury research, incorporates Zorbium® foam technology with integrated air channels, cooling fabric, and strategically placed ventilation pads for superior thermal management during extended wear. Moveable comfort pads provide a personalized fit, and the liner accommodates overhead communications headbands for headset integration.
